God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say “thank you?” ~William A. Ward
Are you looking for a quick and easy centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table? I’ve got a couple of suggestions that are both quick, easy and not expensive.
I just have to share this centerpiece with you that I did a few years ago. It was so easy. I just scooped out a small enough area in each apple to insert tea candles. I placed them on a small platter, with a larger candle in the middle and wrapped my real bittersweet around the outside. Easy!
I know I just recently shared this a few weeks back, but I’m hoping all my tiny gourds and pumpkins will hold up for another two weeks, as Mr. Cottage and I will be hosting Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year.
I love the one above that I first saw from Apartment Therapy, but it’s actually linked back to the original, which is from Your Cozy Home. I read where this was designed and used for BHG in 2011.
Here’s another simple one that I love. Are you noticing a trend here? In addition to being simple and easy, they’re all using natural elements and are narrow, without being too tall. We have a harvest table in our dining room and if you’re not familiar with that type, well lets just say you can’t put anything too wide on them. When I sit at a table, I want to be able to see the people across from me, without playing hide and seek between the tall foliage and high candlesticks. If you need more ideas, just scroll around on Pinterest and you’ll see so many ideas you won’t be able to decide!
