A hundred men may make an encampment, but it takes a woman to make a home.
Mr. Cottage and I are working on several projects around the house and nothing is quite ready to share with you yet. So I thought I would show photos of our previous house, which in the past I only showed blips of here and there. Most of these photos were actually taken by our realtor, which I’m so happy I saved.
The front of our previous house
Our custom built cabinets, that looked built-in, but weren’t
Living room looking towards the entry
We actually switched out the chandelier prior to listing the house and this is the one that stayed behind
One of several items I wish we would have kept. This came from Pier One
Kitchen with all built-ins and the window slid open to pass food and items to the screened porch
Maple butcher-block island and skylight above sink
Our pantry and utility cabinets, along with our desk
Lower cabinets and upper had swing-out shelving
We actually forgot to pack the paper shredder under the desk and it sold at our estate sale!
Bath with laundry on the main floor
Family room (I made the fitted slipcover on the couch)
Mr. Cottage’s pride and joy on the wall (what can I say??)
Screened-in porch with two skylights
I hand painted the words
I have so much more to show and didn’t want to overwhelm you in just one day. So I’ll show the rest tomorrow. See you then!
