Is it looking like spring where you live yet? This time of year in Michigan doesn’t look much like spring and isn’t feeling much like it either; and it doesn’t help when there’s snow on the ground!
The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month. ~Henry Van Dyke

I recently purchased this lovely two-tiered wood tray from Painted Fox when they had a fabulous sale. I’ve been eyeing it for over a year and finally made the decision to buy it. But I have seen the same tray for sale at other stores, too. My black-faced sheep came from my favorite local store, Kennedy’s Floral.
If you’re lucky enough to own a tiered tray, you can decorate it for so many seasons and holidays, as well as have it set up in your coffee station or other drink location. I just grabbed what I had on hand, other than the ceramic bunny I found in the dollar section at Target. I even threw in a few eucalyptus leaves I had left over from our dining room centerpiece.
I bought the huge magnolia flower from, where else, but the Magnolia Market. I just went online and they no longer sell the ones I have, but the one they currently have for sale look even better; but they’re on the pricey side.

Just grab a small vase and add in either greens or flowers.
I bought this tiny lamb on a Christmas clearance a few years ago at Joann’s. I never intended to use it as an ornament. As for my polka dot eggs, I searched around and couldn’t find a blog post anywhere on how I did this. Really? I know they’re wood eggs, but if you’re curious on how to make the polka dots, I dipped the eraser from this pencil, into my acrylic paints. You just have to make sure they dry thoroughly without them rolling around.
