I’ve made this banana bread recipe for years, but the last time I made it I decided to add chocolate chips to the bread and I made a few other minor changes. Now, if for some reason you’re not a fan of chocolate (and I know some of you aren’t fans), just know you can go ahead and make this recipe, but just omit the chocolate chips.

Very important to remember to use only ripe bananas!
Combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over the top of the bread batter.
Bake 1 hour.
