“It is easily overlooked that what is now called vintage was once brand new.” ~Tony Visconti
Back in March, I found and bought the blue and white vintage tablecloth at a nearby local store. When I received the printed tablecloth from Rita, I decided to layer these two cloths together. It’s perfect for spring and for Memorial Day celebrations.
Don’t the two of them look great together? I’ve had a love of old tablecloths for a number of years.
This isn’t a great photo, but this is the first tablecloth I purchased. It looks great at the cottage, so that’s where I leave.
Another flea market find! When looking for a vintage tablecloth, make sure to check everything over. Look for rips and stains and ask yourself if you can live with some of those stains. For me, they’ve all been very minor.
I love how this one worked out perfect for using during the holidays!
And currently on our kitchen table at the condo! Oh, I forgot to mention I just bought another blue and white vintage tablecloth last weekend at another flea market. I’ll share it with you later this summer.
