HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE! I want to thank each and everyone of you who have followed along with me in my little corner of the world. I especially want to thank all of you who took the extra time to visit and to leave comments because I know we all live busy lives. I truly appreciate each and everyone of you!
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending. ~Carl Bard
Can you believe it’s 2018? I can still remember when everyone (except for Mr. Cottage and I, and maybe you) were waiting to see what would happen when the clock hit midnight for the year 2000. Anyway, today I’m sharing my top 10 blog postings from 2017. You can see my top 10 from 2016 here. I always love looking back to see which ones drew the most page views, and usually I’m quite surprised.
Let the countdown begin…
Number 10 was our CHIC RUSTIC THANKSGIVING TABLE.
Number 9 is our delicious CHICKEN TCHOUPITOULAS. This is a cajun chicken with potatoes and Béarnaise Sauce. Trust me when I say it’s so good and not overly spicy!
Number 8 are my HUNGARIAN MOON CAKES. I actually renamed them Solar Eclipse Moon Cakes to celebrate the solar eclipse across America. They’re like potato chips…you can’t have just one!
Number 7 is the 2017 FALL TOUR OF HOMES.
Number 6 is AGE IS ALL IN THE ATTITUDE. There’s no hiding the fact that this was a huge milestone birthday for me.
Number 5 is THE EASIEST FAUX SHIPLAP, EVER. If you missed this one, you’ve got to read it.
Number 4 is LEARN HOW TO TRANSFORM AN ORDINARY FILE CABINET INTO EXTRAORDINARY USING CORRUGATED METAL. I did have people who asked why I used corrugated metal, and my answer was, why not! FYI, we can still use magnets on it!
Number 3 is a DIY CUSTOM PAINTED CHRISTMAS TREE COLLAR.
Number 2 is our 2017 CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR.
And finally to the Number 1 most viewed post, HAVE YOU SEEN OUR REPURPOSED DOOR? I was really surprised to see that this post was viewed more than any other for 2017.
As you read this, Mr. Cottage and I have taken down almost all of our Christmas decorations. I have to tell you it’s looking kind of bare, but that can be a good thing. I’ve got plenty of topics I’m thinking about for 2018, but if there’s anything in particular you would like more of, leave me a comment below with your suggestions!
